Myrrh + Frankincense – 60 capsules is more than a biblical combination! This tandem has a medicinal potential still little explored by science, but used for thousands of years for the health of body and soul, in traditional medicines.

Commiphora myrrha and Boswellia serrata trees produce resins with a very complex chemical structure. In these resins we also find substances with psychoactive potential, which have created in the popular language so many expressions about myrrh and frankincense. Starting from traditional uses, medical research now has many studies dedicated to them. What are the physiological actions, proposed by science, of the two plants? Myrrh and frankincense have been studied in relation to pain ¹ , the 2 acting on different pathways ² , thus being able to offer remarkable effectiveness. Research shows that these 2 herbs can also act on the uncontrolled proliferation of cells that have undergone mutations ² , on neuronal degradation ³ and on metabolic syndrome ⁴ or diabetes ⁵ .

The Romanian product MYRHAM + INCENSE – 60 capsules, from DVR Pharm, combines the extract, pulvis and essential oil of myrrh and frankincense, offering increased bioavailability and a complex spectrum of effects, being the most complete form of administration of the 2 resins.

• ethyl-acetic extract and liquid CO₂ 12-18:1 dry (starch, magnesium oxide, magnesium carbonate) from Myrrh resin ( Commiphora myrrha ), containing at least 7.5% guggulsterones: 100 mg;
• 5-10:1 dry extract of Frankincense ( Boswellia serrata ) resin, containing 70-85% boswellic acids 100 mg;
• vegetable rice capsule; Frankincense ( Boswellia serrata ) resin powder: 62.5 mg;
• Boswellia sacra ( Boswellia sacra ) resin powder: 62.5 mg;
• myrrh resin powder ( Commiphora molmol ): 62.5 mg;
• Saffron/Turmeric rhizome powder ( Curcuma longa/Curcuma sp. ): 62.4 mg;
• essential oil of Myrrh ( Commiphora myrrha ): 0.035 mg;
• Frankincense essential oil ( Boswellia serrata ): 0.035 mg;
• essential oil of Geranium ( Pelargonium graveolens ): 0.03 mg.
